THE DESERT POEM

I see a mesmerizing veil of sunrise
Hugging your silhouette with iridescent wings
Shielding your reveries from ominous sandstorm of doubts
With a fanciful kaleidoscope of mirages
I see the wind caressing the desert in a slumberous bliss
So softly it leaves the elusive ripples like kisses
To be scattered with the falcon cry in azure infinity
Let us greet the newborn day with Salat Al-Fajr*
And disappear on the other side of horizon...
